Prosilio

Prosilio is located at an altitude of 360 metres and 8 klm from Kardamili towards Kalamata.
A genuinely traditional village: cobbled narrow streets, stone houses, castles and tower houses but most of all a spectacular view to the Messenian Gulf from Petalidi to Koroni and Mezapo.
A place where you can enjoy heavenly sunsets. Prosilio is blessed with the most sunlight of continental Greece and known for its multiprised olive oil.
At the uppermost spot of the village lies the imposing Agios Georgios church, built in 1833 on the remains of another church. Here visitors can admire Taxiarxis’ fresco.
